Overview

Nick Goedde focuses his legal practice on estate planning and probate law. He helps individuals and families in the preparation of wills, living trusts, financial powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, and living wills.

Nick also has experience assisting clients with general business law and transactional matters. He helps individuals establish their business and provides continued legal counsel for routine business activities including: the purchase and sale of business assets, the creation of sub-entities and drafting or reviewing contracts.

While attending college and law school, Nick gained hands-on legal experience while being employed by two law firms in Bowling Green, Ohio and Temperance, Michigan respectively. In these positions, he assisted attorneys and clients in areas including estate planning, family law, real estate, probate, and small businesses. During law school, Nick also participated in a civil advocacy clinic and represented members of the Toledo community to address a range of legal issues.

Prior to joining the Firm, Nick spent nearly two years as a practicing attorney in Sylvania, Ohio where he specialized in estate planning, probate and general business representation.

Nick's article, "Who Needs an Estate Plan?" is published by the Lorain County Office on Aging (LCOOA) The Senior Times newspaper in the May/June 2024 issue.

During his final year at the University of Toledo College of Law, Nick served as president of the Student Bar Association. He was also a member of Law Review, a scholarly publication devoted to the discussion of current legal issues.
