Community involvement is an integral - and fun - component of our firm's culture. We are involved in meaningful activities that benefit the local neighborhoods, professional associations, senior centers, and special events in support of our clients.

Lorain County Bar Association
Given our Sheffield Village location, our Firm is involved with the Lorain County Bar Association. Our attorneys enjoy the process of working collaboratively with and through groups of people to address issues affecting the wellbeing of those in our community. We uphold LCBA's mission to support legal professionalism in the industry and to advance the Lorain County legal community as a center of professional excellence, and as a role model for community service.
As members of the LCBA, we also participate on special committees throughout the year. Director Ryan Gembala and attorney Mike Briach serve on the LCBA Legal Ethics & Grievance Committee which investigates complaints and potential breaches of the Code of Professional Conduct.
To further promote justice and advance the legal profession, attorneys are also members of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
A Commitment to our Community
The Firm partners with community-focused nonprofit organizations committed to improving the health and lives of those within our region. Organizations include the Alzheimer's Association and its Walk to End Alzheimer's, the Epilepsy Foundation, and LifeShare Community Blood Services in Elyria, Ohio.
An Ongoing Presence in Our Community
Our attorneys are current and past instructors at the Lorain County Community College, the Lorain Business College, and the Ohio Paralegal Institute. They also serve as Law Directors for cities and towns in our region, as well as General Counsel for the Lorain County Metropolitan Park District and the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority.
