Community Involvement at Dooley Gembala

Second Harvest Food Bank

At Dooley Gembala, we have a close partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank. We are proud supporters of the Generous Helpings fundraiser, and our team regularly volunteers by packing boxes or distributing food to those in need.

Attorney and partner Gayle Reeves has been on the Second Harvest board for several years. She served as the board chair for her last two years and co-chaired the capital campaign that raised over 6 million dollars.

We are proud to be involved with an organization like Second Harvest, and to help make sure that no one in our community goes hungry.

Lorain County Bar Association

Our firm is heavily involved with the Lorain County Bar Association. We have numerous members of our team serving on various committees.

Director Ryan Gembala and Attorney Mike Briach serve on the legal ethics and grievance committee to ensure that all attorneys uphold the highest ethical standards when handling cases. Gayle Reeves and Doug Henry serve on the executive committee of the Lorain County Bar Association, with Gayle Reeves being the former president of the board.

We are proud to serve on these committees, as we believe in keeping the legal profession honorable and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible representation.

Community Civic Service at Dooley Gembala

Our attorneys are actively involved in organizations that promote civic service involvement. We're proud that our team members serve on boards or offer free services to support these efforts.

Some of our attorneys have volunteered with El Centro, a Latino non-profit advocacy organization, to provide pro bono legal services to people in need around Lorain County. Attorney and partner Carmen Verhosek sits as board chair of the Hispanic Business Center and has served on various panels dedicated to cultural importance.

Our firm has attorneys who specialize in assisting individuals with disabilities and illnesses. Some of our attorneys have worked with the Alzheimer's Association, and Gayle Reeves previously served on the board of directors for the Epilepsy Foundation.

Dooley Gembala is committed to maintaining a high level of community involvement and service, and we take pride in our team members who contribute their time to these causes.
