Overview
Carmen M. Verhosek was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and received her JD from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Her practice focuses on Elder Law, Asset Protection, Estate Planning, and Medicaid and Veterans’ Benefits Planning. Carmen has years of experience as a powerful force in the workplace and a zealous advocate, providing guidance and support to her clients by helping them prepare a plan for a better quality of life, preserve their wealth, and protect their future. She is passionate about missions that educate, empower, and help build sustainable communities.
Her civic service includes serving as Chair for the Board of Trustees for the Hispanic Business Center, the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland Pro Bono Committee, and the Board of Kendal at Oberlin. She is a 2019 Leadership Lorain County graduate, was recognized as one of the 100 Latinos Cleveland Must Know in 2020, and is an honoree of the Smart Business Network 2022 Progressive Woman Award. She also won the Difference Maker Emerald Award on Inspirational Leadership in 2023 and was among the Who's Who in Black Cleveland honorees in 2023.
